USA (FDA) is going to approve Pfizer vaccine for the 5-11 age group shortly.
Why USA ?
(Because, unlike India, there will be plenty of vaccination and breakthrough data in the cloud for us.)

- Cumulative numbers of Child Covid-19 cases from the beginning :6,295,648
- This represents 16.5% of all cases
- There is a recent surge in child cases.
- 14/10/21 to 21/10/21 : 117,702
- This is 25.1% of all cases
A brief round up of Covid-19 in the 5-11 age group of USA.
( all numbers are rounded up)
- There have been 1.8 million cases till 21.10.21.
- 8600 are hospitalised.
- 2800 are admitted to ICU ( @ 1 in 3 hospitalised)
- 143 have died.
As on date, Covid-19 is the 6th leading cause of Death among 5-15 years in USA.
So are we advising Covid-19 vaccine for kids ?
If you are a Grand parent and if you want to hold your grand kids close, better get them vaccinated.
The chance of getting a covid infection is reduced by vaccination. The chance of transmitting it to others is reduced by 6 fold.

So, with no long term safety data regarding covid vaccines for any age group, how can it be responsible to recommend covid vaccines for children? Doesn’t that seem a little dangerous, considering that the CDC doesn’t seem to be very interested in examining the VAERS data?
