• While more kids are getting Delta, they’re NOT getting more sick.
• Delta infection among children is 10 to 15 times higher, but rate of of hospitalisation is 2% of the positive cases. This rate sharply increases after 18 years.
• Israel requires proof of vaccination or negative test report from anyone above 3 years. It has started vaccinating the Under-12 since July 2021.
• A third dose of Pfizer shot 86% effective in 60+ of Israel.
• Pfizer vaccine gets Full FDA approval. It has got only EUA ( Emergency Use Authorisation) till date.
• Regeneron‘s Antibody Cocktail is a mix of two antibodies against virus is found to be effective in treating cases with severe symptoms.
