Chairs of the Buddha Park

Whenever I have to think alone, I make it to the Buddha Park. Nicely ensconced in one of those chairs among the milling crowd of visitors, I could organise my thoughts which was not possible in the posh study of my house.

These chairs in the park have given me thousand ideas. This article is dedicated to them.

Orange Chair

This chair faces east. My favourite in the morning time of the day.

By a bed of flowers
Narnia’s world

Whenever I sit here I’m immediately transported into a magic world.

The Buddha Chair

This chair gives me ideas of Moksha.

By the Great Rock of Lumbini

You feel like on top of the world, whenever you occupy this chair.

By the waters of the lake

Of course, I’ve a whole set of pictures of this chairs in different seasons, different moods.

Winter at the Park

But that will be another story. Here’s the link:

The Chair by the Lake

Each chair of the Buddha Park in the Lumbinivihar has a separate story for me.
