United States with a population of 0.3 billion has already used 200 million doses of vaccine and is now considering third dose for all its citizens.
1.3 billion people of the whole African continent have received only 58 million doses till date. The percentage of fully vaccinated is only 2.2%.
WHO requests the rich nations to donate vaccines to the poor nations before going for the third booster. But the rich hardly care.

Virus circulating among partially vaccinated population quickly develops resistance to the existing vaccine. ( Example: Delta Virus)
Can any number of booster doses save these rich Americans from the mutants created among the poor Africans ?
Can you be safe when your neighbours are suffering from Covid-19 ?
