At 17:03:54 : a child falls on railway track.
At 17.04.05 : a Staff on duty puts the child on PF.
At 17.04.06 : he climbs on PF.
At 17.04.07 : the train passes the point at full speed.
Hats off to the lightning reaction of the staff on duty. His good works getting recognised at various forum.
This set me thinking-
Another one second, the man would have been crushed to death. But that didn’t happen. He survived and today we are celebrating his extreme courage and lightning reaction.
Is it not coincidence that such a work of extreme valour also gets the right coverage from the right position ? The CCTV was in the right position to record this act of valour for the whole nation. Some other time such incidence might have gone unnoticed .
This reminds me one of my favourite quotations from the Shrimad Bhagawat Gita.
“भगवद् गीता अध्याय 11 श्लोक 33
“तस्मात्त्वमुत्तिष्ठ यशो लभस्व
जित्वा शत्रून् भुङ्क्ष्व राज्यं समृद्धम्।
मयैवैते निहताः पूर्वमेव
निमित्तमात्रं भव सव्यसाचिन्। ।11.33।।”

( Tasmaat twam uttishtha yasho labhaswa.
Jitwaa shatroon bhungkshwa raajyam samriddham;
Mayaivaite nihataah poorvameva
Nimittamaatram bhava savyasaachin.)
Oh Arjun ! Arise and awake to the truth. This despondent thought that you will be guilty of killing your Grand shire, Gurus and kins gathered in the battlefield is utterly mistaken. They are already dead.
Because I have already killed them.
“Then why me ?” Asks arjun.
“ You are destined to corner the glory of destroying them and wear the crown of the greatest archer of the Aryavarta for the posterity. That is also pre-decided.”
