The Buddha as I know

(Stories Retold)

A rich man looked through his window and saw a poor oldman picking something from his dustbin …

He sighed and prayed, “Thank GOD, I’m not poor.”

The poor oldman looked ahead and saw a beggar shivering in fever. Presently an ambulance came and picked him up…

He sighed and prayed, “Thank GOD! At least I’m not sick.”

Then that sick person in the hospital saw a trolley taking a dead body to the mortuary …

He sighed and prayed, “Thank GOD! At least I am not dead.”

And in the hospital I sighed and said, “Thank God! That gives me full three count to kneel down and pray right now. Who knows which avatar I may be playing next moment ?”
