Ungrateful kids.

My idea, like it or not…

Evolution has a law that in the whole animal kingdom and birds, the adults will take care of their young ones.

This is in the best interest of evolution. It has created a hormone Oxytocin specifically for this. If young ones are not taken care of, that species will get extinct.

Oxytocin is responsible for the mother dog to suckle its puppies and birds to build a nest for laying eggs.

But have you seen a puppy after growing up taking care of its mother. Or a bird coming back to her mother’s nest to take care of the old bird. There is no reverse Oxytocin which will make the birds to stay with their parents life long.

For evolution, aged animals and birds are expendable. Community has to take care of them.

Why should evolution make an exception for human beings?

Humans always try to manipulate nature and break the rules of evolution. They break the community to leave with their young ones life long and feel their children should take care of them in the old age. No bird or animal expects that from it’s puppies.

Care of children is not an investment which should bring enough return for covering your old age.

The earlier you realize it, the better.
