Why do children build sand castles ? _Beautiful castles, intricately carved doors, windows, walls.
Although it starts disintegrating even before it’s complete, still millions of kids all over the world always build them.

As I look back over the last 50 years of my existence on this planet, I do remember those millions of castles that I have tried to build in my life. That board exam after 7th standard, or matric board, medical entrance, my first job posting, my marriage, my kids, their future.
Today after half a century, nothing seems important enough that I can carry to the next world. Nothing conquers time.
Yet it is the process of building that is more important than the end product.
The tide of time will wipe away all those castles I’ve tried to build over last half century. Once I will leave this good Earth, they all will lose their relevance like the sand particles washed away into the ocean of time.
I believe,
It’s that enchanting process of building that matters, not the end product.
Even the biggest of the castles one day will be wiped away by the tide of time.
We don’t live for the final product, we live only for the journey.
