It won’t be long before intelligent machines begin to argue that, since they were created from human intelligence, they too are human
About 15 billion years ago, the universe was born. It was a whopping hundred million trillion trillion degrees hot. As it cooled down and solidified, gravity developed.
At 10 billion years ago, Quarks could then form protons and neutrons. And then atoms appeared. Electro magnetism and Light appeared.
The first of the single-celled organisms was formed some 3.4 billion years ago. Seven hundred million years ago, the first multi cellular organisms, plants and animals appeared.
primates emerged only ten million years ago. Humans evolved in the last few thousand years.
Once single-celled organisms evolved, life began to develop at an exponential rate.
This is because of a memory chip called the DNA.
Evolution of life involved a lot of memories. Memory of past infection and immunity against it. Memory of internal enzymes that remember the change of climate and food habbit. Our DNAs preserve these memories from thousands of generation so that each life has some past memories and doesn’t have to start from ground zero.
It only took 100 years for machines to appear that can store information and identify patterns and do computation. The computing memory took only 100 years what a billion years of biological evolution did.
It won’t be long before intelligent machines begin to argue that, since they were created from human intelligence, they too are human, even if their brains are mere metal and silicon copies of the real human brain.
